- Odds are rarely published.
- Reported at all five casinos.
In shortA jackpot slot machine adds part of every stake to a growing prize. Unless you win it, the game returns less than its headline RTP.
How the pot is funded
- You stake £1.
- A few pence go to the jackpot pool.
- The rest is played as a normal slot.
- The pool grows until a random trigger pays it.
- It resets to a seed amount.
Against a standard slot
If the jackpot is not why you are playing, a standard slot at 96% is the cheaper machine.

Kinds of jackpot machine
Some have a single pot. Others have tiers, often called mini, minor, major and grand, with the smaller ones paying frequently. Must-drop jackpots guarantee a payout before a stated sum or time, which makes their value easier to judge as the limit nears.
And the £5 limit
Jackpots are paid in full regardless of stake on most machines, so the stake limit does not cap them the way it caps an ordinary maximum win.
