How machines were once cheated
Coins on strings, shaved coins, magnets on mechanical reels and devices to confuse coin counters all had their day. Each was answered by a change in the machine.
Why it stopped
An online slot's result is produced by software on the game provider's server. Your device only shows the picture.
'Hacks' and 'cheat codes'
Anything asking for payment, a download or your login in exchange for a slot cheat is after your money or your account.
