Key takeaways
- Counts anywhere on the reels.
- Usually triggers the feature.
- Three is the usual number.
- Sometimes pays on its own.
In shortA scatter counts wherever it lands, not only on a payline. Three or more usually trigger the machine's main feature.
How scatters differ
Ordinary symbols must line up from the left. A scatter needs only to be in view. That is why two scatters and a third just out of sight feels so close, and is not.
