Coral payment methods, according to its help centre, are Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards, PayPal, Pay by Bank, Apple Pay, Google Pay and a paysafecard account, with Fast Bank Transfer available for withdrawals only. Credit cards are not accepted. Several of these, including PayPal, don’t qualify for the new-player free spins, so the method you pick first matters.
Seven routes in: debit cards, PayPal, Pay by Bank, Apple Pay, Google Pay and paysafecard; Fast Bank Transfer is a payout-only route.
Skrill and Neteller don’t appear on Coral’s help centre method list, so don’t plan around them.
Coral’s closed-loop policy sends winnings back to methods you have deposited with.
PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, Neteller, prepaid and some debit cards are excluded from the welcome offer.

Debit cards at Coral: Visa, Mastercard and Maestro
Debit cards are the default route for most UK players. Coral accepts Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards for deposits, and pays out to Visa debit cards through Visa Fast Funds where the card supports it. Coral’s help centre describes Fast Funds approval as typically taking a couple of hours, with the money typically reaching the bank within four hours afterwards; amounts over £2,000 take longer.
The welcome offer terms exclude “certain debit cards” without listing them on the summary, so read the full terms if you plan to claim it with a card. If a card deposit is refused outright, a bank gambling block is a common reason. The Commission keeps a list of banks that offer gambling blocks (opens in a new tab), and they are worth knowing about whether or not you want one.
Using PayPal at Coral
PayPal works for both deposits and withdrawals at Coral, but with two conditions worth knowing up front. First, a PayPal withdrawal is only available if you have deposited with PayPal in the last six months. Second, PayPal deposits don’t count towards the new-player free spins.
PayPal can hold money from several sources, and UK rules say gambling operators accepting e-wallets should make sure the money wasn’t loaded from a credit card. If your PayPal account defaults to a credit card, switch the funding source to a debit card or bank account before you deposit, or expect the payment to be refused.
Apple Pay and Google Pay at Coral
Mobile wallets suit people playing in the Coral slots app or on a phone browser. Coral lists both Apple Pay and Google Pay for deposits and withdrawals. For Google Pay, Coral publishes a £5 minimum deposit and a £5 minimum withdrawal, and pays withdrawals to the card behind your Google Pay wallet rather than to the wallet itself.
Neither wallet is on the offer’s excluded list as summarised, but because the wallet passes through an underlying card, an excluded card type could still affect eligibility. Check the full terms if the offer matters to you.
Pay by Bank: Coral’s open banking option
Coral’s Pay by Bank service is provided through TrueLayer, according to the Coral Pay by Bank FAQ (opens in a new tab). It sends money straight from your bank account after you approve the payment in your banking app, without entering card numbers. The published minimum deposit is £5, and Pay by Bank can also be used to withdraw.
Choose Pay by Bank in Coral’s cashier and enter the amount.
Select your bank from the list shown.
Approve the payment in your own banking app or online banking.
Return to Coral, where the balance updates once the bank confirms.
Because the payment is approved inside your banking app, any gambling block on that account will stop it, which is a feature rather than a fault.
paysafecard, Skrill and Neteller at Coral
Coral accepts paysafecard through a paysafecard account, not by typing in a voucher code. Withdrawals back to paysafecard are possible only after a previous paysafecard deposit. Paysafe payments don’t qualify for the welcome offer.
Skrill and Neteller are not on the payment methods list in Coral’s help centre. A Neteller logo appears in the coral.co.uk site footer, but that is not the same as a confirmed, supported method with published rules. If you rely on either wallet, check the live cashier. Both are excluded from the current welcome offer in any case.
Fast Bank Transfer for Coral withdrawals
Fast Bank Transfer is a withdrawal-only option at Coral: you can’t deposit with it. The published minimum withdrawal is £5, and Coral says payouts arrive in two to four business days once approved. It is useful for returning money when no other method can receive it, for example if a card has expired. Our Coral withdrawal time page compares it with Visa Fast Funds.
Coral’s closed-loop rule and the three-method limit
Coral’s help centre describes a closed-loop policy. In plain terms, winnings go back to a method you have paid in with. That is common across licensed casinos and is partly an anti-money-laundering measure: money should leave by the same route it came in. The PayPal six-month rule and the paysafecard prior-deposit rule are both applications of it.
Separately, UK customers can have up to three active payment methods in a rolling 30 days. Here is how that can play out:
Example: the three-method limit over 30 days

The simplest way to avoid surprises is to pick one or two methods that can both deposit and receive withdrawals, and stick with them.
Which Coral payment method suits you
Fastest published payout: a Visa debit card that supports Visa Fast Funds.
Claiming the welcome spins: a method that isn’t excluded; PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, Neteller and prepaid cards are out.
Playing mostly on a phone: Apple Pay or Google Pay, keeping in mind Google Pay payouts land on the underlying card.
Not sharing card details: Pay by Bank, approved in your banking app.
Keeping gambling money separate: a dedicated debit card or account you only top up with your entertainment budget.
That last point is a budgeting habit rather than a Coral feature, but it works well alongside a deposit limit. Our bankroll guide explains how to size a slot budget, and what a session budget is breaks it down per sitting.
UK payment rules that apply to Coral payment methods
Coral, like every operator licensed in Great Britain, works within payment rules set by the Gambling Commission. Credit cards have been banned for gambling since 14 April 2020, including via money service businesses, and the Commission’s guide to gambling with a credit card (opens in a new tab) explains the e-wallet angle. Operators must also check customers when net deposits pass £150 in a rolling 30 days, a financial vulnerability check using public records that has applied since 28 February 2025.
Since 31 October 2021 operators can’t offer reverse withdrawals, so once you ask for money back, the request can’t be cancelled and replayed. More on these protections is on our UK slot machine rules page and the credit card ban explainer.
Coral states it charges no withdrawal fees, and UK players pay no tax on gambling winnings; see tax on slot winnings.
Where to play: payment methods and the Coral offer
The payment method decides whether you get Coral’s welcome spins. The offer, for new players aged 18+, is bet £10 on slots and get 100 free spins, 10p each on selected games, accepted within 48 hours and valid for 7 days, with no wagering on winnings. Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t qualify, and it runs from 1 October 2026 to 1 February 2027; terms apply. Read Coral free spins for the value: 100 × 10p is £10 of spins.
Ladbrokes, run by the same company, excludes a similar set of methods (prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers) from its offer of up to 500 free spins: play £10 on slots, then receive 50 spins a day for 10 days at 10p each, no wagering, valid 7 days; 18+, terms apply. You may not be able to hold new accounts at both brands. Compare on Ladbrokes payment methods, and remember that whichever method you use, slots are paid entertainment with a built-in house edge.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
What payment methods does Coral accept?
Coral accepts Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards, PayPal, Pay by Bank, Apple Pay, Google Pay and a paysafecard account for deposits, according to its help centre. Withdrawals can go to most of the same methods, plus Fast Bank Transfer, which is withdrawal-only. Credit cards are not accepted because they are banned for gambling in Great Britain. Skrill and Neteller don’t appear on the help centre list, so check the cashier if you want to use them. Our Coral minimum deposit page gives the published minimums for each route.
Does Coral accept PayPal?
Yes, Coral accepts PayPal for deposits and withdrawals, but PayPal withdrawals are only available if you have deposited by PayPal in the last six months. PayPal deposits don’t qualify for the new-player bet £10, get 100 free spins offer. Make sure your PayPal account is funded by a debit card or bank account rather than a credit card, because UK rules don’t allow gambling funded by credit, even through an e-wallet. If PayPal is your preferred method, use it for ordinary play and choose another method for the offer. See Coral withdrawal time for payout speeds.
Can I use Skrill or Neteller at Coral?
Skrill and Neteller are not listed on Coral’s help centre payment methods pages, so we can’t confirm either as a supported method. A Neteller logo appears in the coral.co.uk footer, but logos aren’t the same as published rules on minimums and withdrawals. If you use either wallet, check Coral’s live cashier before depositing. Both are excluded from Coral’s welcome offer in any case, as are PayPal, Paysafe, prepaid cards and certain debit cards. Our page on how to claim free spins explains why method exclusions are so common.
Does Coral take Apple Pay?
Yes, Apple Pay is listed on Coral’s help centre for both deposits and withdrawals, which makes it a natural fit for anyone using the Coral Casino app on an iPhone or iPad. The cashier shows the minimum and maximum when you select it, and the general UK cap of £2,000 per deposit applies. Apple Pay isn’t named on the welcome offer’s excluded list as summarised, but check the full terms because the card behind the wallet can matter. Our Coral slots app page covers the app’s requirements and features.
What is Pay by Bank at Coral?
Pay by Bank is Coral’s open banking payment option, provided through TrueLayer, which moves money directly from your bank account after you approve it in your banking app. You don’t type in card numbers. Coral publishes a £5 minimum deposit for Pay by Bank, and it can be used for withdrawals too. Because the payment is approved by your bank, a gambling block on your account will stop it, which is a useful safeguard. Our guide to blocking gambling sites and payments explains how blocks and Pay by Bank interact.
Why can I only use three payment methods at Coral?
Coral’s help centre limits UK customers to three active payment methods in any rolling 30-day period. It is an operator rule that helps with security and anti-money-laundering checks, and it fits alongside the closed-loop policy that returns winnings to methods you have deposited with. In practice, if you add a fourth new method within 30 days the cashier may refuse it until an older method falls outside the window. Keeping to one or two methods avoids the issue. The Coral sign up guide suggests choosing methods before your first deposit.
Which Coral payment methods qualify for free spins?
Coral’s offer terms list the exclusions rather than the qualifying methods: Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t qualify. That leaves options such as most debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pay by Bank, but check the full terms because the debit card exclusions aren’t itemised in the summary. The offer, for new players aged 18+, is bet £10 on slots and get 100 free spins at 10p each, no wagering on winnings; terms apply. Our bet £10 get free spins guide explains this style of deal.
Are there fees on Coral payment methods?
Coral states that it does not charge any withdrawal fees, and its help centre doesn’t list deposit fees for the main methods. Your own bank or wallet could have separate charges in unusual cases, such as currency conversion if a card is in another currency, so check with your provider if you aren’t sure. There’s also no tax deducted from gambling winnings for UK players; duty is paid by the operator. Our explainer on remote gaming duty covers what the operator pays and how it rose on 1 April 2026.
Can I deposit with a credit card at Coral?
No, credit card deposits are not allowed at Coral or at any other gambling business licensed in Great Britain. The Gambling Commission ban took effect on 14 April 2020 and covers credit card payments made through e-wallets and other payment firms as well. The Commission introduced it after research it cited suggested a high rate of problem gambling among online gamblers who used credit cards. Use a debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by Bank, PayPal funded from a bank account, or a paysafecard account instead. The credit card ban page explains the rule in full.
How do Coral payment methods compare with Ladbrokes?
The payment methods listed in Coral’s and Ladbrokes’ help centres are almost identical: debit cards, PayPal, Pay by Bank, Apple Pay, Google Pay and paysafecard, with Fast Bank Transfer for withdrawals only. Both cap single UK deposits at £2,000 and say they charge no withdrawal fees. That reflects their shared operator, LC International Limited. The offers differ, and so do their excluded methods slightly; Ladbrokes also lists Moneybookers. One person may not be able to open new accounts at both. See Ladbrokes payment methods for that brand’s details.
