Which payment methods does Casumo accept?

Casumo’s UK homepage (opens in a new tab) names the deposit methods in its FAQ: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, Paysafecard, Skrill and Instant Banking. The same page carries a withdrawal-time table covering card, PayPal, bank, Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller and MuchBetter. Every deposit method shares the same £10 minimum.

The detail most people miss is that the lists differ. Neteller and MuchBetter appear for withdrawals but are not named as deposit options in the FAQ; Paysafecard and Trustly appear for deposits but not in the withdrawal table. Casinos normally pay back to a method you have used, so the best time to think about withdrawals is before your first deposit. Methods not on either list, such as Google Pay or pay by mobile, are not published, so check the cashier rather than assume. For a broader look at the casino, see the Casumo casino page.

Each Casumo payment method explained

Debit cards (Visa and Mastercard)

The default for most players. Deposits from £10; withdrawals go back to the card and take up to 2 days after approval. Only debit cards work: credit cards have been barred from gambling in Great Britain since 14 April 2020.

Apple Pay

Works on iPhone and in the Casumo app, where Apple Pay and Quick Deposit are named features. It is listed for withdrawals too, arriving instantly once approved. The card behind Apple Pay must be a debit card.

PayPal

Deposits from £10 and withdrawals listed as instant after approval. Moving money from PayPal to your bank afterwards is a separate step on PayPal’s side.

Skrill, Neteller and MuchBetter

E-wallets. Skrill is listed both ways. Neteller and MuchBetter appear in the withdrawal table only, so if you hold one of those wallets, confirm in the cashier that you can deposit with it before relying on it. All three are listed as instant after approval. Under UK rules an operator accepting e-wallet payments should check the wallet was not loaded from a credit card.

Paysafecard

A prepaid voucher bought with cash or a card. It suits players who like a fixed, pre-loaded amount, but it does not appear in Casumo’s withdrawal table, so winnings would need to go out another way, normally a bank account in your name.

Trustly and Instant Banking

Both move money directly from your bank account without a card. Casumo lists them for deposits; withdrawals to a bank are shown as taking up to 5 days after approval, the slowest route on the table.

How to choose a Casumo payment method

There is no single best method; it depends what you care about. Work through these questions in order.

  1. Decide how you want to be paid. If speed matters most, an e-wallet or Apple Pay is quickest on Casumo’s figures.
  2. Check that the method appears on both lists. If it is deposit-only, such as Paysafecard, decide now how you will withdraw.
  3. If you want the welcome bonus, read its payment restrictions before the first deposit; the excluded methods are in the bonus terms.
  4. Think about control. A bank gambling block or a prepaid voucher can be part of a budget plan; a stored card with quick deposit makes topping up easier.
  5. Make the deposit, then complete identity checks so a later withdrawal is not held up.

Casumo payment fees

Casumo’s withdrawal policy (opens in a new tab) charges £3 on any withdrawal under £10 and nothing on withdrawals of £10 or more. No deposit fee is listed on the homepage. Your own bank or e-wallet may have its own charges, for example for currency conversion or for moving money out of a wallet, which sit outside Casumo’s terms.

The fee is easy to avoid: withdraw £10 or more at a time. On a £6 withdrawal it would take half the money. The Casumo withdrawal time page has a table of what arrives after the fee at different amounts.

Casumo deposit and withdrawal speed by method

Deposits normally appear as soon as the payment is authorised by your bank, card app or wallet. Withdrawals have an approval stage first; Casumo says requests are reviewed within hours and its policy commits to approving or declining within 3 days. After approval, e-wallets and Apple Pay are instant, cards take up to 2 days and bank transfers up to 5 days.

A worked example: a £60 PayPal withdrawal requested on a Monday morning and approved that afternoon should be in PayPal on Monday. The same £60 to a bank account, approved on the policy’s last day (Thursday), could take until the following Tuesday. Both are inside Casumo’s published windows.

UK rules on casino payments

Several rules apply to every UK-licensed casino’s cashier, Casumo included.

  • Credit cards are banned for gambling, including payments routed through a money service business; e-wallets must not be funded by a credit card (Gambling Commission guidance on credit cards (opens in a new tab)).
  • You must be age and identity verified before depositing.
  • You must be prompted to set a deposit limit before your first deposit (since 31 October 2025).
  • Once you request a withdrawal, the operator must not offer to cancel it or invite you to play the money (since 31 October 2021).
  • Net deposits over £150 in a rolling 30 days trigger a financial vulnerability check of public records (since 28 February 2025).

Our UK slot machine rules guide brings these together with the game design and stake rules, and what changed for slots in 2025 and 2026 dates each change.

Gambling blocks and Casumo payments

Many UK banks let you switch on a gambling block in their app, which declines card payments to gambling merchants. The Commission lists Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Halifax, HSBC, Lloyds, Monzo, NatWest, RBS, Santander and Starling among them. If you use a block, it will stop card deposits at Casumo and other casinos; it does not, on its own, stop every route such as some e-wallets or vouchers, so combining it with deposit limits, GAMSTOP or blocking software gives fuller cover. See how to block slot sites and the Casumo safer gambling tools page.

What your deposit actually pays for on Casumo slots

Whichever method you use, a deposit becomes stake, and every stake carries the slot’s house edge. With 6,000+ games listed, RTPs vary by title, so open the help screen of each game. As a guide, on a 96% RTP slot, staking £50 costs £2 on average; on a 94% slot it costs £3. Over single sessions results swing far more than these averages. Our pages on house edge and what a good RTP for a slot is explain the gap between the average and what happens in an evening.

Frequently asked questions

Does Casumo accept PayPal?

Yes, Casumo accepts PayPal for both deposits and withdrawals. Deposits start at £10, as with every method, and withdrawals are listed as instant once the casino has approved them, which Casumo says usually happens within hours and at most within 3 days. Moving money from PayPal to your bank is then a separate PayPal transfer. If you want the welcome bonus, check its payment restrictions before depositing. Our Casumo withdrawal time page compares PayPal with the other routes.

Can I use Paysafecard at Casumo?

Yes, Paysafecard is one of the deposit methods Casumo lists, with the usual £10 minimum. It does not appear in Casumo’s published withdrawal table, though, so you will need another way to take money out, typically a bank account or e-wallet in your name. Some players like vouchers because the amount is fixed in advance, which can help with budgeting alongside a deposit limit. Our slot budget planner shows how to set a figure before buying a voucher.

Does Casumo take Neteller?

Casumo lists Neteller for withdrawals, with payouts arriving instantly after approval, but Neteller is not named among the deposit methods in its homepage FAQ. If Neteller is your main wallet, open the cashier to confirm whether it is offered for deposits to your account before relying on it. The same applies to MuchBetter. Skrill, by contrast, is listed for both deposits and withdrawals. See the Casumo minimum deposit page for deposit amounts.

Can I pay with Apple Pay at Casumo?

Yes, Apple Pay is accepted for deposits and is also listed for withdrawals, which Casumo says arrive instantly once approved. In the iPhone app, Apple Pay and Quick Deposit are named features. The card behind Apple Pay must be a debit card, because credit cards cannot be used for gambling in Great Britain. Quick deposits make topping up very easy, so setting a deposit limit first is sensible. The Casumo slots app page covers the app’s other features.

Is Google Pay available at Casumo?

Casumo’s homepage does not list Google Pay among its deposit or withdrawal methods, so it is not confirmed. That does not rule it out, as cashiers can change, but check the cashier in your account before planning to use it. Android users have several published alternatives: debit card, PayPal, Skrill, Paysafecard, Trustly and Instant Banking for deposits. If you want a fast route back out, PayPal and Skrill are listed as instant after approval. Our mobile slots guide covers phone payments more widely.

Which Casumo payment method pays out fastest?

On Casumo’s published table, PayPal, Apple Pay, Skrill, Neteller and MuchBetter withdrawals are instant once approved. Debit card withdrawals take up to 2 days and bank transfers up to 5 days after approval. The approval itself usually takes hours and is capped at 3 days under the withdrawal policy. Completing identity checks early and not having unfinished bonus wagering are the two things that keep approval quick. Compare these with Coral payment methods if you hold accounts at both.

Does Casumo charge fees on deposits or withdrawals?

Casumo charges a £3 fee on withdrawals below £10 and none on withdrawals of £10 or more, according to its withdrawal policy. No deposit fee is listed on its homepage. Your own bank, card issuer or e-wallet may charge separately, for instance for currency conversion or for transferring money out of a wallet; those charges are set by the provider, not Casumo. Withdrawing in amounts of £10 or more avoids the casino’s fee. See Casumo withdrawal time for a worked table.

Does Casumo accept credit cards?

No, no UK-licensed casino can take credit card payments for gambling, a rule in force since 14 April 2020. It also covers payments through e-wallets that were topped up with a credit card, and the Gambling Commission expects operators to check this. Visa and Mastercard debit cards are fine. The ban was introduced partly because research linked credit card gambling with higher rates of harm. Read more on our credit card gambling ban page.

Do I have to withdraw to the same method I deposited with?

Casinos generally return money to a method you have used, to prevent fraud and money laundering, and Casumo’s withdrawal options are set out in its cashier and withdrawal policy. Because Paysafecard and Trustly do not appear in the published withdrawal table, players who deposit that way will usually be offered a bank or other route. The simplest approach is to deposit with a method that is also on the withdrawal list, such as a debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Skrill. Our how to play online slots guide covers account setup.

Are my payment details safe with Casumo?

Casumo is run by Recro Limited, which holds a UK Gambling Commission remote casino licence under account 61549, so it must follow the Commission’s licence conditions and technical standards. Using a wallet such as PayPal or Apple Pay also means your card number is not shared with the casino. Separately, the casino has to tell you how well your balance is protected if it became insolvent; that rating is in its terms. Our is Casumo legit page explains the licence checks.
