Casumo fruit machines online are fruit-themed video slots in the Casumo lobby: cherries, bells, BARs and sevens on a few reels, often with few paylines. They borrow the look of a British pub machine but run on online slot rules and maths. This page explains what carries over, what doesn't, and what these games cost.
Online fruit slots copy the symbols and simplicity of pub machines but not their rules or payout systems.
Pub-style holds, nudges and feature trails appear on some online games, but they don't let skill beat the RTP.
Fruit-style slots in our facts range from 95.00% (Rainbow Riches) to up to 99% at top stake (Mega Joker).
Few paylines often means low stakes go further, but volatility still varies from game to game.
Online slot stakes are capped at £5 (25+) or £2 (18–24); pub machines follow separate category rules.

Casumo fruit machines online: what you will actually find
There are no pub fruit machines at an online casino. What you'll find under a search for fruit games at Casumo are fruit slots online: video slots that use the classic fruit symbols, usually on three or five reels with a handful of lines. Some are deliberately retro, with a fixed set of lines and no bonus round. Others take the fruit theme and add modern features such as cluster pays or multipliers.
Casumo licenses its games from outside studios and its catalogue, put at 6,000+ games on its homepage, changes over time, so any title we name here is an example of the style rather than a promise it's listed. Search the lobby for "fruit", "joker", "hot" or a specific game name after logging in. For the casino itself, see our Casumo page; its UK operator, Recro Limited, appears on the Gambling Commission's public register under account 61549 (opens in a new tab).
Pub fruit machine vs online fruit slot: what changes
A British pub fruit machine and an online fruit slot can look alike from a distance. Under the bonnet, they're regulated and built differently.

The biggest difference is how the payout is reached. Many pub machines have historically been compensated, steering towards a target percentage, whereas an online slot draws every result independently from its RNG. Our explainer on the difference between slots and fruit machines goes further,.
Cherries, bells, BARs and sevens: the symbols explained
Fruit slots keep a symbol set that's more than a century old. The cherry is often the lowest pay and sometimes pays even on its own; the bell recalls the Liberty Bell machine; the BAR is one of the oldest reel symbols still in use; and the lucky seven usually tops the paytable. Our short history of why slot machines have fruit symbols tells the story.
On a modern fruit slot, the pay order of these symbols is set by the developer, not by tradition, so read the paytable. A melon might outrank a bell on one game and sit below it on another.

Two of these show a quirk worth knowing. Mega Joker reaches its top RTP only at the top stake with its Supermeter mode, and Reels of Gold's RTP also varies with stake, so the same game can return different amounts depending on how you play it. Fire Joker and Sizzling Hot Deluxe are the closest online equivalents to a simple three-reel pub machine.
Holds, nudges and feature trails on online fruit games
On a pub machine, the machine offers holds and nudges, and the player chooses how to use them. Using an offered nudge well can avoid missing a win the machine has already made available, but no technique beats its built-in payout percentage. Online, these features survive mainly on games from UK studios such as Barcrest, and the outcome is still decided by the RNG.
Where an online game offers a hold, it may suggest one or let you pick reels; either way, the result of the next spin comes from the same random draw. A feature trail, where you climb a board towards a prize, works as a bonus game within the RTP. On a pub machine, the same features are explained in our fruit machine features guide.
Online fruit slots don't have a skill element that changes the odds. Stopping reels or timing a spin makes no difference to the result.
What Casumo fruit machines online cost to play
Fruit slots with five lines often let you play at very low stakes, which makes them popular for long, gentle sessions. The cost per spin is the same formula as any slot: stake × (100% − RTP). The table compares Fire Joker's listed 96.15% with Rainbow Riches' 95.00% over 300 spins.

Playing a fruit-style slot at Casumo step by step
Log in and search the lobby for a fruit-style title; the selection changes, so search rather than browsing for a named game.
Open the paytable and check which symbols pay on two, three or more reels.
Find the RTP in the rules section and check whether it changes with stake.
Count the lines: on fixed-line games, your stake is spread across all of them.
Set a stake that fits your budget, within £5 (25+) or £2 (18–24).
Start each spin yourself; autoplay isn't available on UK slots.
If the game shows your net position and session time at the top of the screen, that's a UK requirement: glance at it every few minutes to keep the session on budget.
UK rules for online fruit slots and pub machines
Online fruit slots at Casumo follow the remote rules: £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over, £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds, at least 2.5 seconds per spin, and no autoplay, turbo or bonus buy. The Gambling Commission's online slots stake limit guidance (opens in a new tab) explains how the stake caps apply.
Casumo's offer box shows its welcome deal for new customers aged 18+: opt in and deposit at least £20 for a 50% bonus up to £100, which must be wagered 10x within 7 days, with a £5 maximum bet. Game, play and payment restrictions apply. Low-stake fruit slots spread wagering over many spins: £100 of wagering at 10p is 1,000 spins, or at least 41 minutes of play.
PlayOJO appears second, with 80 spins at 10p each on Big Bass Bonanza for a first deposit of £10 or more and no wagering on winnings (18+, new UK customers excluding Northern Ireland, terms apply). That isn't a fruit game, so if classic fruit slots are what you want, our page on online fruit machine bonuses explains what to look for. Game availability changes, so search before depositing. Frequently asked questions
Does Casumo have fruit machines?
Casumo doesn't have pub-style fruit machines, which are physical gaming machines in venues, but its lobby includes fruit-themed online slots that use cherries, bells, BARs and sevens. The selection changes, so search after logging in. These games run on online slot rules: £5 or £2 stake caps, RNG outcomes and no autoplay. Our explainer on fruit slots online describes the style and how it differs from the pub version.
Are online fruit machines the same as pub machines?
No. They look similar but work differently. Pub machines are licensed by category, with stake and prize limits set for premises, and many have historically aimed at a payout percentage over a cycle. Online fruit slots draw each result independently from an RNG and follow remote rules, including the £5 and £2 stake caps. Holds and nudges appear only on some online games. Our pub fruit machine guide explains the venue side.
Do online fruit slots have nudges and holds?
Some do, mostly games from UK studios that copy pub features, but many fruit-themed slots don't. Where they exist online, the result of each spin still comes from the RNG, so holds and nudges are part of the game's maths rather than a way for the player to gain an edge. On pub machines, using an offered nudge well can avoid missing a win, but nothing beats the payout percentage. See how fruit machine nudges work.
What is the RTP of fruit slots?
It varies by game. In our slot facts, Rainbow Riches lists 95.00%, Sizzling Hot Deluxe 95.66%, Fire Joker 96.15% and Fruit Party 96.47%, while Mega Joker reaches up to 99% only at its top stake with the Supermeter. Developers may also supply lower versions, so the figure in the game's help screen at Casumo is the one that counts. Our page on how much a fruit machine pays out covers the venue side.
Are fruit slots low volatility?
Not always. Simple fruit slots with five lines are often medium volatility, as Fire Joker and Sizzling Hot Deluxe are listed, but Mega Joker and Fruit Party are listed as high. A retro look doesn't tell you how a game pays, so check the volatility rating where the developer gives one. Our explainer on low volatility slot machines shows what to look for if you want smaller, steadier wins.
Can I play fruit slots for 10p at Casumo?
Many fruit-style slots allow stakes around 10p or lower, but the range is set by each game, so check the bet panel. At 10p a spin, 300 spins cost £30 in total stakes, with an average long-run cost of about £1.16 on a 96.15% RTP game. Low stakes make a budget last longer but don't change the house edge. More examples are on the low stake slot machines page.
Why does Mega Joker's RTP change with stake?
Mega Joker is designed so that its top return, listed at up to 99%, applies only when you play at its top stake with the Supermeter mode. Lower stakes produce a lower RTP. Some Barcrest games, such as Reels of Gold, also vary their RTP with stake. Always check the help screen, and don't raise your stake beyond your budget to chase a higher percentage. See our Mega Joker page for how the Supermeter works.
Can I use the Casumo bonus on fruit slots?
Possibly. Casumo's 50% bonus up to £100 needs a £20 minimum deposit and opt-in, and must be wagered 10x within 7 days with a £5 maximum bet. Game, play and payment restrictions apply, so check whether a particular fruit slot is allowed and how it counts. Low-stake games stretch wagering over more spins, which takes more time. See Casumo slot bonus for worked examples. 18+, terms apply.
How old do you need to be to play fruit slots online?
You must be 18 or over to play any online slot in Great Britain, including fruit-themed games, and the casino must verify your age and identity before you can deposit or play, even in demo mode. Players aged 18 to 24 also face a lower £2 per spin stake cap. Pub fruit machines have their own age rules by machine category. The minimum age for slot machines page covers both.
Is there a gamble feature on online fruit slots?
Some fruit slots offer a gamble or higher-or-lower option after a win, letting you risk the win for a chance to double it or climb a ladder. On average it doesn't add value: the expected return of a fair gamble is the same as the amount you risk, and some gambles return less. Many players skip it to keep sessions predictable. Our page on the hi-lo gamble feature explains how it works.
