Peter & Sons slots

Peter & Sons slots come from an international studio founded in 2019 that makes slots, scratch cards and crash games and says its titles reach more than 1,000 operators. Much of its early work was released through bigger companies’ partner programmes. This page explains how that route works, which games it is known for and how to check one before you play.

Who makes Peter & Sons slots?

Peter & Sons is a game development studio founded in 2019. It describes itself as international rather than tied to one country, and its website’s copyright is held by Spinart Ltd. Alongside slots it makes scratch cards and crash games, and by its own count its games are offered by more than 1,000 operators.

According to a studio profile on a trade site, the business had more than 40 games, released a new one each month and counted Barbarossa among its most popular. In 2026 the studio collected four awards at the MiGEA ceremony. The family-business name is branding; we haven’t confirmed who founded it, so we don’t name anyone.

The same profile reported that SkillOnNet invested in Peter & Sons in 2023. SkillOnNet is also the group name of Skill On Net Limited, the company that runs PlayOJO, one of the casinos whose offers appear on this site. We mention it so you can weigh our coverage; it doesn’t tell you which Peter & Sons games PlayOJO lists. Our advertiser disclosure explains how the site is funded.

How Peter & Sons slots reach UK casinos

A young studio has a practical problem: every casino uses different software, and connecting to each one takes time and money. This studio solved much of that by working through larger suppliers’ partner programmes, which let a smaller developer build on the bigger company’s technology and reach its casino customers. It is the same distribution layer described in our explainer on what a slot aggregator is.

Blue HornORYXDistributed through the ORYX hub

In July 2022 InterGame reported Wild One as the latest Peter & Sons title released through YG Masters, following Water Blox Gigablox and Xibalba. Gigablox is Yggdrasil’s own mechanic for oversized symbols, which shows how partner programmes can give a small studio access to a bigger company’s features. See our pages on Yggdrasil and Relax Gaming for the partners.

  1. The studio designs the game and its maths model.
  2. The game is built on the partner’s technology and tested by an approved test house for each regulated market.
  3. The partner offers the game to casinos connected to its platform.
  4. Each casino decides whether to list it, and which approved RTP version to run.
  5. You find it in the lobby, sometimes filed under the partner’s name rather than Peter & Sons.

Peter & Sons games you may see

These are the titles named in the sources we checked. We don’t have verified specifications for them, so the table shows what is confirmed and what to check yourself.

With a release every month, the catalogue moves quickly, so newer games may be more prominent in lobbies than these. Our new slots guide covers how releases reach casinos, and how new slots are released explains the timings.

Slots, scratch cards and crash games compared

The studio makes three kinds of instant-result game, and they are regulated slightly differently in Great Britain. Slots must take at least 2.5 seconds per game cycle and can’t offer autoplay, under rules in force since 31 October 2021. Since 17 January 2025 similar design rules extend to other online casino games, with a minimum of 5 seconds per game cycle for non-slot games.

SlotReels or grid spin and stop2.5 seconds
Scratch cardPanels revealed on screenCheck the game rules
Crash gameA multiplier rises until the round ends5 seconds (non-slot casino game)

Whatever the format, the result is fixed by the random number generator and the animation only reveals it. The game cycle page explains why speed rules focus on the time between results.

Peter & Sons RTP and what play costs

Because we haven’t confirmed RTPs for individual Peter & Sons games, the most useful thing we can do is show how to read the figure when you find it. Open the help screen, find the theoretical return, and work out the long-run cost. At 50p a spin, 100 spins is £50 staked:

  • at a 96% RTP the long-run average cost is £2;
  • at 95% it is £2.50;
  • at 94% it is £3.

Those are averages over a vast number of spins; one session can lose much more, or return more. Our RTP explainer and RTP variants pages explain why the same game can show different figures at different casinos.

Are Peter & Sons slots licensed in the UK?

The studio profile lists the UK among Peter & Sons’ licences, along with Malta, Sweden, Denmark, Greece and Ontario. We haven’t matched a Gambling Commission account number to the studio, so we don’t quote one; the Commission’s business register (opens in a new tab) lets you search for it. When a game is supplied through a partner programme, the partner’s own licence and testing also play a part.

Before release in Britain, games must be checked by an approved test house. The Commission’s guidance on test houses (opens in a new tab) describes their role, and our how machines are tested page explains what is examined.

UK stake limits and game rules for Peter & Sons slots

British versions of Peter & Sons slots follow the same rules as every online slot: a stake ceiling of £5 a spin for anyone 25 or older and £2 for 18 to 24 year olds, set out in the Commission’s stake limit guidance (opens in a new tab); no autoplay; at least 2.5 seconds per spin; no turbo or slam-stop; and no celebrating a return equal to or below the stake. Bonus buys aren’t offered at UK-licensed casinos. Our slot game design rules page has the details.

To turn a max win into pounds, multiply the cap in the help screen by your stake: a 5,000x cap at the £2 limit would be £10,000. That is only an illustration; check the actual cap.

Myths about small slot studios

  • “Smaller studios pay more to attract players.” Returns are set by each game’s maths and version, not by the studio’s size.
  • “A game listed under the distributor is a copy.” Partner-programme games are original studio titles released on the partner’s platform.
  • “Crash games can be timed.” The crash point is decided by the RNG at the start; cashing out early only chooses when you stop, not what the round would have done.
  • “New releases pay more in their first weeks.” A game’s maths doesn’t change with its age; see are new slots better than old ones?

Who Peter & Sons slots suit

Advantages

  • Steady stream of new releases
  • Varied products: slots, scratch cards and crash games
  • Access to partner mechanics such as Gigablox on some titles

Drawbacks

  • Few independently confirmed specifications
  • Games can be filed under partner names, making them harder to find
  • Fast formats like crash games can encourage rapid play

Games from this studio suit adults who like trying new releases and don’t mind doing their own checks. If you play fast formats, consider a reality check reminder; our what is a reality check on slots? page explains how they work.

Where to play Peter & Sons slots

Game availability varies and changes, and we can’t confirm which Peter & Sons titles our partner casinos list, so search each lobby by game name. None of these is a Peter & Sons promotion: they are welcome deals for new players aged 18+, with terms applying.

Coral offers 100 free spins, each worth 10p on selected games, when you deposit and bet £10 or more on slots; accept within 48 hours, use within 7 days, no wagering on the winnings. Ladbrokes, after a deposit and £10 of slot play, credits 50 free spins on each of the first 10 days (500 in all, 10p each, no wagering). PlayOJO, whose operator’s group invested in Peter & Sons as noted above, offers 80 free spins at 10p on Big Bass Bonanza for a first deposit of at least £10, with winnings paid in cash. Some e-wallets and prepaid cards don’t qualify, and Coral and Ladbrokes share an operator. More on our casinos page.

Frequently asked questions

Who owns Peter & Sons?

The studio was founded in 2019, and the copyright on its website is held by Spinart Ltd. A studio profile reported that SkillOnNet invested in it in 2023; SkillOnNet is the group behind Skill On Net Limited, which runs PlayOJO. We haven’t confirmed the full ownership structure or the founders’ names, so we don’t state them. For how studios, distributors and casinos relate to each other, see what a slot provider is and our providers hub.

What are the best-known Peter & Sons slots?

The titles named in the sources we checked are Barbarossa, which a studio profile called one of its most popular, and three games released through Yggdrasil’s YG Masters programme: Water Blox Gigablox, Xibalba and Wild One, the last reported in July 2022. The studio releases a new game roughly every month, so lobbies may feature newer titles. Their RTPs and maximum wins are unverified, so this page doesn’t state them. Our what are the most popular slots in the UK? page has wider context.

What is YG Masters?

YG Masters is Yggdrasil’s partner programme for independent studios. A partner such as Peter & Sons designs its own games but releases them on Yggdrasil’s technology, which gives it access to Yggdrasil’s casino connections and some of its mechanics, such as Gigablox. The games remain the partner studio’s own work. That is why a Peter & Sons title may appear alongside Yggdrasil games in a lobby. Read our Yggdrasil page and the slot aggregator glossary entry for more.

Is Peter & Sons licensed in the UK?

The UK appears among the studio’s licences in a trade profile, along with Malta, Sweden, Denmark, Greece and Ontario, but we haven’t matched a Gambling Commission account number to the studio, so we don’t quote one. You can search the Commission’s public register yourself. Games supplied through partner programmes also go through the partner’s licensing and testing. Always check the casino’s own licence too. Our are slot machines legal in the UK? and Gambling Commission and slots pages explain the system.

What RTP do Peter & Sons slots have?

We don’t have verified RTP figures for individual Peter & Sons games, so check the help screen at your casino, which shows the version that casino runs. To make the figure meaningful, convert it into a cost: 100 spins at 50p is £50 staked, so at 96% the long-run average cost is £2 and at 94% it is £3. Single sessions vary much more than that. Our guide on reading slot RTP in the UK shows where to find the number.

What is a crash game?

A crash game shows a multiplier that rises from 1x until the round suddenly ends, and you choose when to cash out before it crashes. The crash point is set by the random number generator at the start of the round, so watching earlier rounds gives no edge. Peter & Sons makes crash games as well as slots. In Great Britain, non-slot online casino games must take at least 5 seconds per game cycle since 17 January 2025. Our gambler’s fallacy page explains why patterns mislead.

Why can’t I find Peter & Sons in a casino’s provider list?

Some casinos file games released through partner programmes under the distributor’s name, such as Yggdrasil or Relax Gaming, rather than under Peter & Sons. Others simply don’t carry the studio, because each casino chooses its own lobby. Search by game title instead of studio, and check the game’s information screen, which usually names the developer. Our Relax Gaming page explains its Silver Bullet programme, and why are some slots not available in the UK? covers market differences.

Can I play Peter & Sons slots in demo mode?

Some UK casinos offer free demo play of Peter & Sons games, but only once you have verified your age, a rule in place since May 2019. Demos use the same maths as the real game, so they help you see how a feature behaves without staking money. Demo credits have no value, and nothing can be won. Because the studio releases new games often, a demo is a sensible way to read the rules first. See our demo slots guide and free slot machines page.

Did Peter & Sons win any awards?

Yes, Peter & Sons collected four awards at the MiGEA ceremony in 2026, according to our checked data. Industry awards recognise design, innovation and business achievement; they don’t tell you anything about a game’s RTP, volatility or your chances of winning. To compare games on the things that affect your money, look at the published RTP, the volatility and the maximum win in each help screen. Our how to compare slots guide and how we rate page explain what matters.
