Stakelogic slots

Stakelogic slots are built around Super Stake, a patented option that adds a second stake to each spin in exchange for a stronger feature game, alongside a range of classic fruit-style and premium video slots. Below we explain how Super Stake changes the cost of play, how UK stake caps apply to it, and what the Gambling Commission’s June 2026 action against Stakelogic BV was about.

Key takeaways

  • Super Stake is Stakelogic’s patented feature: an optional extra stake that roughly doubles the cost of a spin to activate a feature game.
  • Under UK limits the whole cost counts, so with Super Stake on, the base stake can be at most £2.50 for over-25s or £1 for 18–24s.
  • Stakelogic BV paid £122,835 in June 2026 after some of its slots ran faster than the 2.5-second minimum.
  • Its GB-licensed entities are Stakelogic BV and Stakelogic UK Limited.

Who makes Stakelogic slots?

Stakelogic is a game supplier with a strong presence in the Netherlands and entities in both Britain and Malta. Our checked data lists Stakelogic BV and Stakelogic UK Limited as its entities licensed for Great Britain, alongside Stakelogic Malta Limited. In trade coverage from 2020 its chief executive was named as Stephan van den Oetelaar.

The company splits its output into three ranges: classic slots with fruit-machine styling, premium video slots with more elaborate features, and live casino. The live side includes Super Stake Roulette 5000x, a table game that carries the Super Stake name across from the slots. This page concentrates on the slots; our online slot providers hub covers other studios.

How Stakelogic Super Stake works

Super Stake is the patented feature most Stakelogic slots are built around. When you switch it on, the game takes an extra stake on every spin, which according to the company’s 2020 launch announcement effectively doubles what you pay. In return, an additional feature becomes active that can set off one of the game’s existing bonus features. The studio describes this as playing two games at once: the base game and the Super Stake feature game.

The launch material gave The Expendables Megaways as an example, where the Super Stake feature could fill the reels with wild symbols or remove the low-paying royals. Other early Super Stake titles named were Gods of Death, Dragons and Magic and Runner Runner Megaways. A stronger variant, Mega Super Stake, was announced in September 2020 for Lion Gold; its example put a £1.50 side bet on top of a £1 stake.

Mechanically it is a close relative of the ante bet: you pay more per spin and the game behaves differently. What it isn’t is a buy-in: the feature still starts at random during spins, so it doesn’t count as the kind of bonus buy that UK-licensed casinos don’t offer.

What Super Stake costs under UK stake limits

British law limits what one game cycle can cost: £2 for adults under 25, £5 for everyone older, with any extra stake taken during that cycle added to the total. The Gambling Commission’s stake limit guidance (opens in a new tab) sets this out. With a feature that doubles the spin cost, that halves the highest base stake you can choose.

Super Stake on and off: cost of 100 spins
Base stakeSpin cost with Super Stake100 spins without100 spins withAllowed for 18–24s?
20p40p£20£40Yes
50p£1£50£100Yes
£1£2£100£200Yes (at the £2 cap)
£2.50£5£250£500No; over-25s only, at the £5 cap

Doubling the stake doubles the average cost of the session too. If a game returned 96% in both modes, 100 spins at a 50p base would cost an average of £2 without Super Stake and £4 with it. The RTP with Super Stake switched on can differ from the base figure, so check the help screen for both. Our pages on online slot stake limits and the 18–24 limit explain the caps.

Stakelogic slots and the 2.5-second spin rule

A British online slot round has had a floor of 2.5 seconds since 31 October 2021, and nothing in the game may shorten it. In June 2026 the Gambling Commission announced that Stakelogic BV would pay £122,835 for running slots too fast (opens in a new tab), after some of its games ran below the 2.5-second minimum. Our page on the spin speed rule explains why the limit exists.

The case is a reminder that the rules apply to the game supplier as well as the casino. For players, a spin that feels unusually quick on a UK site is worth reporting to the casino, and complaints that aren’t resolved can go to an approved dispute service, as described in our slot complaints guide.

Other UK rules that shape Stakelogic games

Beyond speed, the slot game design rules ban autoplay and stop games celebrating a return that is equal to or smaller than the stake. They also ban features that let a player run more than one slot at the same time. Stakelogic has promoted a Quattro feature, described in 2020 as letting players play up to four games simultaneously; under the British rule on multiple games, that kind of simultaneous play isn’t available on online slots in Britain.

The Commission’s RTS 14 on responsible product design (opens in a new tab) contains these requirements. Free demo play of Stakelogic games, where a casino offers it, is available only after age verification.

How to check a Stakelogic slot before you play

We don’t yet hold checked RTP, volatility or max-win figures for individual Stakelogic games, so the help screen is the source to trust.

  1. Open the slot at a UK-licensed casino and find the information or rules screen.
  2. Look for the RTP; if Super Stake has its own figure, note both.
  3. Read what the Super Stake feature does in this particular game and how it starts.
  4. Check the bet panel to see whether Super Stake is on and what each spin really costs.
  5. Choose a base stake that keeps the total within your budget and the UK cap.

Our guide on how to find a slot’s RTP explains where the figure usually sits, and RTP variants covers why a casino may run a different version.

Branded and Megaways Stakelogic slots

Several Stakelogic premium titles use outside brands or licensed mechanics. The Expendables Megaways ties into the action film series, putting it among TV and film slot machines, and both it and Runner Runner Megaways use the Megaways reel system, whose changing reel heights are explained in our Megaways slot machines guide. The history of that mechanic and its licensing is on our Megaways history page.

Branded games don’t pay differently because of the licence, but licence fees are a cost to the supplier, and the RTP is still set by the maths, not the theme. Our branded slot machines guide looks at how these games are built.

Are Stakelogic slots worth playing?

Advantages

  • Classic range suits players who like fruit-machine simplicity
  • Super Stake is optional and clearly an extra cost
  • GB-licensed entities listed in the Commission’s register
  • Branded Megaways titles in the premium range

Drawbacks

  • Super Stake doubles the cost of every spin while active
  • Regulatory settlement in 2026 over spins below the UK minimum
  • Few published figures we can confirm per game
  • Lower maximum base stake in the UK when Super Stake is on

If the classic range appeals, our fruit machines vs video slots comparison explains how online fruit-style games differ from the cabinets in pubs.

Where to play Stakelogic slots in the UK

Stakelogic games appear at some UK-licensed casinos; availability changes, so search the casino’s lobby for the title. None of the offers below is linked to Stakelogic games, and free spins from welcome offers are played at a fixed 10p value without any Super Stake option.

Coral gives new players 100 free spins after a deposit and £10 of slot bets (10p each, selected games, accept within 48 hours, valid 7 days, no wagering on winnings). Ladbrokes gives up to 500 free spins, 50 a day for 10 days at 10p on selected games with no wagering, after £10 of slot play. PlayOJO gives 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza (10p each, no wagering) with a first deposit of at least £10. 18+, terms apply.

Set a deposit limit first, and if you use Super Stake, budget for double the spin cost.

Frequently asked questions

What is Super Stake on Stakelogic slots?

Super Stake is Stakelogic’s patented optional feature that adds an extra stake to each spin, effectively doubling the cost according to the company’s 2020 launch announcement. While it is active, an additional feature game can set off one of the slot’s bonus features, such as extra wilds or removing low-paying symbols. It works like an ante bet rather than a bonus buy, because the feature still starts at random. Our ante bet page explains the maths of paying more per spin.

Can I use Super Stake at the maximum UK stake?

Only if the total stays within the limit. UK stake caps apply to everything staked in a game cycle, so with Super Stake doubling the spin cost, the highest base stake is £2.50 for players aged 25 and over (total £5) and £1 for players aged 18 to 24 (total £2). A UK casino’s version of the game should stop you going over. Our online slot stake limits page explains how the cap is applied.

Why did Stakelogic pay £122,835 to the Gambling Commission?

The Gambling Commission announced in June 2026 that Stakelogic BV would pay £122,835 because certain games had been completing rounds in less than the 2.5 seconds British rules require. The minimum is meant to slow the pace of play and reduce harm. The case shows that the rule binds game suppliers as well as casinos. Our spin speed rule page and the wider game design rules explain the requirement.

Is Stakelogic licensed in the UK?

Yes. Our checked data lists Stakelogic BV and Stakelogic UK Limited as the company’s entities licensed for Great Britain, alongside Stakelogic Malta Limited for other markets. You can confirm current licence status by searching the Gambling Commission’s public register for either name. The casino running the game needs a separate operating licence of its own. Our page on the Gambling Commission and slots explains the different licence types.

What is the RTP of Stakelogic slots?

It varies by game, and we don’t hold checked RTP figures for individual Stakelogic titles, so the help screen is the reliable source. Some games may also show a separate figure for play with Super Stake switched on, because the extra stake changes the maths. Note both before deciding how to play. Our guide to finding a slot’s RTP shows where to look, and what is a good RTP helps you judge the number.

Can I play several Stakelogic slots at once in the UK?

No. Since 31 October 2021, British rules have banned functionality that lets a player run more than one online slot at the same time. Stakelogic has promoted a Quattro feature described in 2020 as allowing up to four games simultaneously, but that kind of multi-game play isn’t available on slots at UK-licensed casinos. The rule sits alongside the autoplay and turbo bans in our slot game design rules page and the autoplay ban explainer.

Does Stakelogic make classic fruit slots?

Yes. Stakelogic’s output is split into classic, premium and live casino ranges, and the classic range uses fruit-machine styling with simple reels and familiar symbols. These are online video slots run by a random number generator, not the pub cabinets they resemble, so they have no skill-based holds or nudges in the land-based sense. Our guides to online fruit slots and can you play fruit machines online? explain the difference.

Is Super Stake worth using?

That depends on your budget rather than on any hidden advantage. Super Stake doubles the cost of each spin in exchange for a feature that can set off bonus rounds, so it changes how the game plays, but it doesn’t remove the house edge, and the average cost of a session doubles with the stake. If you use it, lower your base stake to keep the total the same. Our bankroll guide explains how to size stakes for a session.

Can I try Stakelogic slots for free?

Some do. A British casino can show a Stakelogic game in demo mode to registered customers whose age it has checked, a condition in force since May 2019. Demo mode is a sensible way to see what Super Stake does in a particular game before paying double for each spin. Demo credit can’t be withdrawn. Our demo slots guide and the page on demo age verification explain the rules.
